Frame by frame photoshop animation

Watch Your Step!

This assignment was soooo time consuming! This one minute cartoon took me about 12 hours to make! It is just a silly little cartoon that made me giggle while I was making it. The little details of the eyes and emotions above his head make it soo much better. I got these ideas form being an avid cartoon watcher haha, and the sound effects make it sooo funny!!!

POT HEAD Frame by Frame Animation

Here is my first animation!

This was so fun to make. Animation is a cool process and this was my very first attempt at it!

This assignment was sooo much work, but a great learning tool. The content was already available, and I got to transform the original menu into something that is more effective. The original menu was very hard to read and really busy. I tried to keep this one simple and easy to read, while still adding cultural elements of the restaurant. I also redesigned the logo.

My Business Cards

I liked this assignment a lot. It was a lot of work, but I think they look pretty good. It was a way to make a simple, effective logo, and show some of my work lol. I tried to keep them creative and simple.

Poster

I just wanted to do something fun and goofy. The message matches the picture as well. I didnt spend much time on this because I spent loads of time on the self-portrait and calligram.

Blackbird Calligram

lyrics by The Beatles

Blackbird is one of my favorite Beatles song. It is a beautiful and simple song to go along with a beautiful and simple image of a blackbird singing in the night. I liked this project and I love how my image turned out.

Rotoscopy- hand painted self-portrait in vectors

vector version

original picture

This took FOREVER. Each little vector shape was hand-drawn and then filled in with the exact color of my face, using the eyedropper tool. I felt like I was making camouflage of my face. It turned out exactly how i wanted it though. I think its awesome that this image can be printed as large or as little as I want, and still no pixels!

1st Attempt at Illustrator

Illustrator was annoying to me at first because I had no idea what to do. After I started playing with it, I stared to like it more and more. I like the fact that every little thing can be manipulated. Also, it is very clean with nooo pixels.

This excersize was very helpful in understanding different sizes. Uploading different jpeg sizes helped me to see what still looks good at a reasonable size....GIFS, however were a lot more fun to play with because when i messed with them, the image was completely transformed.

Places I have never been...

Me at Stonehenge!!!
Me at Warwick Castle!!

background photos by Caulene Hudson

This assignment was fun because I got to pretend that I have been to Europe! Both of the pictures of Stonehenge and Warwick castle were take by my sister when she went to Europe a couple of summers ago. The photo of me was taken in my kitchen. Haha
